KAWODEP is committed to making a significant contribution to building human resource capacities by providing internship opportunities to students pursuing diploma and degree courses in areas relevant to our work. We offer a minimum of 12 internships to Kenyan students every year. The internships are offered on voluntary basis and the standard internship period is 3 months. Through this program, students get enriching practical experiences that contribute towards completion of their study programs and also get exposure to working life. Students who have over the years interned with the organisation reported the experience to have been worthwhile and to have contributed significantly to their careers. The students also get a chance to contribute to the organisation by bringing in innovative ideas and building capacity of their colleagues in their respective areas of expertise.
